Yogabliss classes at the Darbar Festival, Barbican Centre, 26 & 27 October 2024

60 minute hatha style classes with deep stretches, slow flows and conscious breathing. Classes will be accompanied by Kirpal Panesar on the esraj creating a serene and immersive experience. Return to your Centre – a quieting yin yoga practice in preparation for the long, dark days of winter

This nourishing workshop will draw from ancient Chinese 5 element theory and specifically the Water Element, which is prevalent in winter. We will begin with gentle guided meditation to settle the body. Then, yin yoga postures held for several minutes will target the deep fascia network in the body, helping us slow down and stay present. Postures will strengthen the Kidney and Bladder energy channels, associated with the Water Element, as we practice stillness and conservation to relieve fatigue, reduce stress and ease fear and anxiety.

Yogabliss at the Nevill Holt Festival  –  a deep release hatha class to the sounds of live Indian classical music by Kirpal Panesar, one of the UK’s finest esraj (bowed instrument) musicians. Part of the Darbar Culture Festival at the Nevill Holt festival, Leicestershire. 
 
High Summer Rise & Shine wellbeing retreat  –  a unique balance of fascial release through yin yoga, breathwork by Aurabreath and cranial support by osteopath, Roberta Parkin, as well as qi gong and meditation focusing on the Fire Element at the nature based Emerson College in Sussex.
 
Reawaken Spring Equinox Workshop  – a lovely balance of yang and yin practices with clearing breathing, standing balances, detoxifying twists and long yin holds to renew and rebalance.
 
Summer Solstice Radiate and Re-charge Workshop,  – a slow flow practice focusing on the Manipura or Solar Plexus chakra to harness the power of summer’s abundance, tempered with  cooling yin yoga to balance the heat of summer and set us up for the transition to late summer. At ZenYoga in London.
 
Autumn Equinox Rebalance and Replenish Workshop  – balancing hatha yoga postures followed by yin postures to stimulate the Lung and Large Intestine energy channels and a guided meditation to connect to our inner wisdom and build clarity to navigate the season ahead.
 

AuraBliss Autumn Wellbeing Workshop – a deeply nourishing workshop in readiness for autumn, with yin yoga, breathwork by Aurabreath and a delicious yin inspired menu by Lara Cooks at the beautiful Bhuti yoga studio in Richmond, London. Part of the Darbar Festival 2022.

Winter Solstice Reflect & Reconnect Workshop  -candlelit workshop honouring the introspective quality of the solstice to allow tension and stress to melt away. 
 
Renew Weekend Retreat, Scotland  – 4 day retreat at the cosy Woodside Cottage in Glen Sannox, on the peaceful Scottish island of Arran. Daily  meditation and yoga; long walks in the brisk air along the sea and hills, exploring local villages for Scottish and a spa day. 
 
Summer Retreat, Italy – 7 day retreat in the natural beauty of the northern Italian countryside. Daily hatha yoga classes in our gorgeous tented yoga shala at Villa Cadenza, a beautifully restored Italian house in Piemonte. Between classes there was time to cool down in the refreshing pool, sample local ‘slow food’ specialities and star gazing in the evenings.
