I have been practising yoga since 1996 and teaching it since 2010. From my very first yoga class, I was hooked – it opened up my body in new ways, healed long-standing injuries and gave me a sense of stillness. Over the years, my practice became a way of keeping a centre of gravity whilst doing a challenging job working on women’s rights and social justice.
My aim is to ensure that everyone is welcome to my classes – regardless of background, experience, flexibility, body shape, age etc. Through an emphasis on mindful movement and breath, I hope to shine a light on the transformational philosophy that underlies the physical practice, so we all have a chance to discover the magic that is yoga.
Come along and try out a class. See the classes section for more info. Online and 1 to 1 classes also available.
For a free 40 min yoga taster, watch my class at the 533 Souls Festival here (festival intro followed by class at 14.15).
